Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds or credit returns may apply to purchases made on Engain.io ("Engain", "we", "us", "our"). By purchasing credits, subscriptions, or services through Engain, you agree to this policy.
1. Definitions
- Credits / Credit purchases: Prepaid balance used to place orders (including comment tasks, post tasks, and upvote orders).
- Subscription: A recurring plan payment that may include monthly included credits or subscription access.
- Automod Removed: Content removed automatically by Reddit's automated systems (not a human moderator).
- Removed by mod / Moderator removed: Content removed by a subreddit moderator or moderation team (human action).
- Sitewide filtering / sitewide removals: Platform-wide enforcement or filtering by Reddit that results in widespread removals.
2. Credit Purchases Are Non-Refundable
All credit purchases are final.
- We do not offer refunds for purchased credits, unused credits, or credit balances.
- Credits are a digital service balance and are not refundable once purchased.
3. Comment and Post Removals and Refund Eligibility
A) Removed by Moderator (No Refund)
- We do not refund orders for comments or posts that are removed by a subreddit moderator.
- A moderator removal typically means the content was live for some period of time and may have received impressions before it was removed. Moderator actions are outside our control, so we cannot reimburse credits or payments for these cases.
B) Automod Removed (Auto-Refund to Balance)
- If a comment or post is marked Automod Removed, Engain will automatically refund the associated credit amount back to your Engain balance.
- This is not a cash refund. It is a credit return to your account balance.
C) Sitewide Filtering (No Refund)
If Reddit performs sitewide filtering or widespread removals, we cannot offer refunds for affected posts, comments, or upvote orders. These events are outside our control and can impact multiple users at once.
4. Subscription Refunds (Limited)
Refunds are only considered for subscription payments, and only under the conditions below.
A) Eligible: No Comments Placed
If you subscribed and did not place any comments on the platform, you may be eligible for a full subscription refund.
B) Partial Refund: 1 to 4 Comments Placed
If you placed at least 1 comment after subscribing, you may be eligible for a 70% refund of the subscription payment.
C) Not Eligible: 5 or More Comments Placed
If you placed 5 or more comments after subscribing, the subscription payment is not refundable under any circumstances due to the operational and delivery costs associated with the service.
5. Upvote Orders on Removed or Cancelled Tasks
If you ordered upvotes alongside a task and the related post or comment is removed or cancelled, you will receive credits back only for the upvotes that were not yet delivered before the post or comment was removed.
Delivered upvotes are not refundable.
6. Refund Method
If you are eligible for a subscription refund under this policy:
- Refunds will be issued only to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
- We do not offer refunds to alternative payment methods, wallets, or accounts.
7. Policy Changes
This Refund Policy was updated on January 1, 2026. We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Engain after an update means you agree to the revised policy.
