Frequently asked questions
You earn 10% of every payment your referral makes to Engain, every month, for 12 months. For example, a customer on the Pro plan ($299/mo) earns you $29.90 per month, or $358.80 over the full year.
Your commission lasts for a full 12 months from the date your referral becomes a paying customer. That means a single referral can pay out every month for a year as they continue their subscription.
When someone clicks your unique affiliate link, a cookie is stored in their browser for 60 days. If they sign up for Engain within that window, they're automatically credited to you — even if they don't convert on their first visit.
Payouts are calculated automatically and sent out once a month. There's no need to submit invoices or manual payout requests — commissions are paid directly based on your referrals' active subscriptions.
No. The affiliate program is free and open to anyone — creators, marketers, agencies, and communities — whether or not you currently use Engain.
Your commission automatically adjusts with them. Since you earn 10% of whatever your referral pays each month, an upgrade to a higher plan increases your monthly commission too.
Marketers, content creators, newsletter writers, and agencies who reach a Reddit marketing or growth audience are a great fit — anyone with an audience that could benefit from Engain.
Anywhere your audience is: your website, newsletter, YouTube videos, podcast show notes, social posts, or directly with brands you think could use Engain, as long as it complies with our affiliate terms.
